Socio- Economically Disadvantages Group Cell

SEDG Cell has been established to ensure that students belonging to Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs) have a safe and secure environment and equitable access to quality education in the Higher Educational Institutions (HEIS), as specified in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 of GOI.

Objectives

 To fulfill the unmet educational needs of children living in geographically fragile regions.

To specifically fulfill the educational demands of disadvantaged groups.

To create inclusivity and smooth access to education for all sections of the society irrespective of socio-cultural background.
