Socio- Economically Disadvantages Group Cell
SEDG Cell has been established to ensure that students belonging to Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs) have a safe and secure environment and equitable access to quality education in the Higher Educational Institutions (HEIS), as specified in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 of GOI.
Objectives
? To fulfill the unmet educational needs of children living in geographically fragile regions.
? To specifically fulfill the educational demands of disadvantaged groups.
? To create inclusivity and smooth access to education for all sections of the society irrespective of socio-cultural background.
